I want her as my teammate!

Seeing that I missed the last league game because of the AMEX event, I vow to myself that I will do better this week compare to my first game. I did pretty much nothing during the first game (two weeks ago), won a game of 701 that i didn’t really contribute too much on (4 players), and lost terribly on cricket and lost a heartbreaking double 1 then a not even close second game on singles 501. Trust me that double 1 still stings. I seem to like MDVA more than BP, as they have a much more relaxing atmosphere and they actually have carpets. I am much more confident because of my new form, since it’s working quite well and I have also scored quite a few 60s and 40s with it.

So yeah, got kicked off the 701 team because captain says i m impatient. Fine. Hate waiting between turns anyway since there are 7 ppl to wait on (okay, maybe thats why he said i m inpatient lol), and our team lost. Up next, double 501. I don’t really remember about the first game but I and my partner lost. Didn’t really remember too much about it, but I clearly remember my first score was 92. Good start, but never really shot that high again for the next two games. Heck, I remember I got a 2 (that’s a total score btw) during one of my turns in the first or second game orzzzzzzzzz *facedesk* Second game, close one, my team won as my partner was able to check double 4. Third and deciding game, close again…and we were stuck at 5 for quite sometime. Was trying to get to 3 so I and my partner can attack double 1 but for some damn reason we are missing it like crazy. So finally I got it, and I purposefully outboard the next 2 darts so there is no chance of bust xDDD (score will stay at 2 instead of going back to 5). Apparently not too many ppl (like some of my other teammates and other enemies alike) support the decision since I basically lost two chances to finish the game. Well I guess they don’t like how obvious I was in outboarding them, but I don’t want to risk anything and bust the score back to 5 again. The reason why I did that was because I and my teammate will rather the score to stay at 2, so we can actually concentrate to go there every set instead of having to go to 3 and risk bust again (anything except outboard and double 1 will bust the score). After god-know-how-many-sets, I GOT DOUBLE 1. I CHECKED. I WON THE GAME FOR MY TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the first time that I won the game for my team, and it’s a clinching game too. DAMN IT FEELS GOOD. Seriously it does. Especially since I couldn’t check that damn thing two weeks ago.

Needless to say that I am really pump for my next singles 501 game. And for the beginning I was going well. I actually got a 120 (triple 20, double 20, 20) and was wayyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of my opponent (100 pts+). Then shit struck. I was stuck at 22 and tried to check through double 11 but I keep outboarding. He came back and won the game. Thinking back, I really should have shoot a 14 so I can check double 4 since my darts are doing pretty well “upstairs” for the night. Or just get the score to a place where I can finish with a double score upstairs. The next game was very close too, I actually got a chance to finish at top (double 20), but I dont really remember what happened and I ended up with a 6. Was trying to check thru 2 and double 2 but didnt work. I really should have went with 4 and double 1 thinking back. Double 3 was out of the question cause I was missing the lower half of the board like crazy the entire night. So yeah, lost both VERY close games but I think I learned a lesson. I really really believe that I should waste a few darts and check at a place I am comfortable with, rather than waste my darts and check at a place that I am NOT comfortable with. Also, train HARD on TOP (double 20) and DOUBLE 1. YIP, TRAIN VERY FUCKING HARD.

Anyway, my team lost 5-8 at the end anyway. But comparing to previous weeks (4-9 and 3-10)…we did much better even though the score didn’t really indicate that. One interesting note was my teammate was beating his opponent at a score of 303-8 during one of his 501 games…Yes. 303-8, 295 pt lead. Didn’t know what the score for his opponent was when he checked, but it was a no brainer that he won both games xDD And at the end he said he didn’t play well. LMAO. Me and my double 501 teammate really want to beat him up bad, like REAL BAD. xDDDDD
